Judith A. Remington
About Me:
Judy Remington retired in 2021 and has not accepted referrals or requests for legal services since that time.
Together with her husband, Jim, Judy helped create and mold Remington Law Offices. She practiced primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship, and elderlaw. She joked that she learned all the areas of law that Jim was not familiar with and didn’t want to learn! She made the practice her own. She especially enjoyed working with families and was always pleased when children (or even grandchildren) of her existing clients retained her.
Judy grew up in South Minneapolis attending Washburn High School where her father was principal. She graduated from University of Minnesota Law School at age twenty-four and practiced law for the next 43 years.
She spent many summers growing up on her grandparents’ farm near Dassel, Minnesota. She maintained the farm after her mother’s death for more than 30 years and enjoyed improving the old farmhouse and outbuildings.
In retirement, Judy has been more active in her children and grandchildren’s lives. She enjoys rosemaling, gardening, and singing
