Professional Experience:

Jim Remington is the founding member of the law firm having created the firm together with his wife, Judy, in 1983. His practice is focused on litigation including personal injury and accident laws, and general commercial and business litigation. He also works with persons in crisis whether in a criminal or family matter, or working through financial issues including bankruptcy and foreclosure. Assisting parties to resolve their differences in mediation has become an important part of his practice.

Jim was raised in Madison, Wisconsin. Between undergraduate studies and law school, he served two years as a naval officer in Vietnam, reaching the rank of lieutenant junior grade. Following law school, he worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Hennepin County, Minnesota for three years. Determined to return to Wisconsin, he relocated to New Richmond in 1978 and he has been practicing there ever since. He is married to Judy and they have four children.
